We finally have enough snow to actually do something, so Colby and Lucas decided it was time to start building jumps in the field for their snowboards. Luke had some pretty good jumps but he obviously has not mastered the landings!!!

Tonight was our ward Halloween Carnival and all the kids dressed up, we had a blast. Im glad my kids have enough of me in them that they are good sports about dressing up!! It makes it fun when we all go dressed up!

Its kinda sad but Luke is the only one in the family besides me interested in carving pumkins. We had fun Saturday while the other boys and Tracy were hunting in the rain we were carving our pumkins, his only complaint was he hates the smell of pumkins!

While Colby and Tracy were deer/elk hunting (which was not productive) Luke shot his first birds, he said he was kinda scared and his arm hurts now but it was exciting!!

Heidie and I made our annual trip to Frightmares at Lagoon, it was a beautiful day and the kids had alot of fun. I think the ride there and back with 8 of us in the car is the worst part of the day but the kids were actually really good. Its fun when they all get along so good!!

This was Masons 1st year to hunt big game and he came home with a 3 point. He was sooooo excited, not bad for his first big hunt.

Today was a crazy day Lucas had a football game at 11am against Fort Hall which the Sharks won 25-19. Then at 2pm Masons football team played South Century and did not fare so well, they lost. This afternoon we had a little party with the Winwards, Mosers, & Wards. The kids had a ball we had a blow up waterslide which was great fun and then we cooked hotdogs over a little fire and had dinner, it was a great night!

Labor Day at Bear Lake

Monday for Labor Day we went to Bear Lake for the day with the Bodilys, Mosers, Mosers and more Mosers :) It was a nice day and the boys had a ball playing in the sand, I dont think there is anything more entertaining for boys than the mixture of sand and water! We did alot of tubing and wakeboarding and skiing. Was a great way to end the summer I guess.

Holy cow being the mom of 3 boys we do get alot of creepy crawlies. This afternoon Luke went out to play and found a little salimander (I think) it was in his window well and it has been the highlight of his day, he has been playing with it for quite a while, Im sure the salimander would refer to it as torture.

Tuesday Septemer 1st was Colbys 17th birthday. The girls from Sky View came and decorated his bedroom before he got home from school. He stayed at home long enough for the family to come and visit him then him and some of his friends went to GI Joe. ( he said it was ok not great if you are looking for movie reviews) I cant believe he is 17!! Its a good thing his dad is old enough to have a kid that old because I am pretty sure Im NOT!

Saturday was our first taste of Fall Football. We will be spending almost every saturday until the end of Oct in Pocky for football. We left saturday at 10 am and got home at 7 pm, its going to be a long fall. Mason and Luke both love it though. This is Masons 3rd year and he is having a ton of fun, he loves having all his friends on his team. This is Lukes 1st year and he is really enjoying it, he really likes it that Tracy is one of his coaches! Both the Indians and the Sharks lost their first games on saturday but they both still had fun playing, luckily neither one of them take it too seriously and just enjoy playing!!

Saturday August 22 we had a new baby goat, it is a girl and it is adorable. something new for the kids to play with on Ol McTracy's farm.

We went to pack meeting tonight and every boy built his own race car and they raced around a track just like nascar. It was fun watching them they had to pit and refuel (juice box), change tires (shoes), and wash their windshield (face) they had a ball.

Tracy sent me the picture below to my cell phone. He has been in Dallas this week at NYL training and it sounds like he has been having a great time, that is until he called me and let me know while he was having so much fun at the Dallas/Redsocks game he lost his cell phone there somewhere!! By the looks of the stadium I dont think it will ever be found! Life at home this week has been crazy. Colby had his wisdom teeth out (it went quite easy for him, he is lucky) Mason and Lucas started football practice this week and of course one practices from 5-7 and one practices 7-9 they cant make it easy! I just keep thinking 12 more days until school starts!

Friday of rodeo we decided to ditch town and go camping it was nice and relaxing and we didnt have to run kids everywhere for the weekend, they got to see the 8 minute parade on thursday night and that was enough! My mom and dad, brother and his family were already up camping with a spot and my family and Shads family went up friday, there was quite a herd of us but it was fun.

We spent Saturday at Bear Lake it was fun and not that hot! that is the first time we have been there this summer.

We are really enjoying our new boat, it is by far the toy that we use the most. The kids have alot of fun, we went out last weekend for 6 straight hours of tubing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding and the little buggars murmured all the way home because we had to go. And I thought I was addicted to Sunkist! They cannot get enough!! I am glad they enjoy it so much and it is something we can all do as a family!!

I took Mason, Parker, Paige, Luke and Addison to Lamont to play for a while they got wet, then cold, and then we came home!!!
